DESCRIPTION:New to Yoga?\nThis Introduction to Yoga Program is the perfect way to begin (or reawaken) your yoga practice! Delight Yoga offers you a 2-hours’ introduction session and 5 beginners’ classes (within 30 days of your intro) for only 50 euro. \nThis powerful program is designed to introduce new yoga students to the basic yoga techniques\, to create flexibility\, strength\, peace and harmony in the body and mind. \nI introduce the concepts of breath/movement synchronization (vinyasa)\, in a slower paced\, informative class\, designed to provide you with a strong foundation in the practice of yoga and prepare you for the five beginners’ level classes that you can choose to follow within this introduction program. \nThe introduction session is held on a Saturday afternoon and takes two hours. You can then take 5 other classes of your choice within a month. We offer a variety of beginners’ classes\, each day of the week\, in different yoga styles and with different teachers. At the end of this program\, you will be confident in continuing with our regular scheduled classes. All sessions will be in Dutch or English as required. \nWhat you will learn during the introduction workshop \nIntro to what is yoga\nBasic breathing techniques\nWarm up poses\, including the sun salutations\nBasic standing postures to cultivate strength and balance\nBasic back bends to cultivate mobility in the spine and to awaken energy\nSitting postures like forward bends for flexibility and to calm down\nRestorative ending poses for relaxation\nFollow up classes \nYou are free to choose any classes from our current schedule\, up to a maximum of 5 within 30 days from your Introduction Session. DESCRIPTION:In this workshop you’ll experience the effect of Yin yoga on your body in a long session – using tennis balls. This will give you some insights and techniques to help you to become more flexible and you’ll learn to release tension and pain. It can also free emotional energy stored in the body. By using tennis balls\, this all becomes much easier than one might think. Anyone can do it! Afterwards you’ll notice a smoother and more stable yoga practice. \nAfter warming up\, we will relax and de-stress hips\, buttocks\, pelvis and legs\, followed by softening the back\, shoulders and neck. We’ll also stimulate and massage the organs.  We’ll close off with a longer relaxing posture to allow the effect to sink in deeply in. \nWe’ll also explore some breathing techniques\, adding extra pleasure and relaxation to this form of yin yoga. After this workshop\, you’ll be able to apply the technique of deep tissue relaxation (deep tissue release) easily at home. Experience the healing power generated by this practice and allow yourself some time to experience the deep relaxation in your body. You’ll feel more energetic and your movements more supple.\nThis workshop is open to everyone.
