SUMMARY:Yin Yoga with balls
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop you’ll experience the effect of Yin yoga on your body in a long session – using tennis balls. This will give you some insights and techniques to help you to become more flexible and you’ll learn to release tension and pain. It can also free emotional energy stored in the body. By using tennis balls\, this all becomes much easier than one might think. Anyone can do it! Afterwards you’ll notice a smoother and more stable yoga practice. \nAfter warming up\, we will relax and de-stress hips\, buttocks\, pelvis and legs\, followed by softening the back\, shoulders and neck. We’ll also stimulate and massage the organs.  We’ll close off with a longer relaxing posture to allow the effect to sink in deeply in. \nWe’ll also explore some breathing techniques\, adding extra pleasure and relaxation to this form of yin yoga. After this workshop\, you’ll be able to apply the technique of deep tissue relaxation (deep tissue release) easily at home. Experience the healing power generated by this practice and allow yourself some time to experience the deep relaxation in your body.\nYou’ll feel more energetic and your movements more supple.\nThis workshop is open to everyone. Also for pregnant women\, with some adjustments.

Learn the tools of teaching and practice that include breath-centered movements\, and principles that are easy to follow and help you to open up your whole body with understanding. \nLearn why these things are important to find alignment in your own body\, and especially if you want to start teaching for understanding other bodies. You will explore why breath-centered movement can deepen your practice. \nYou explore the stages of learning & teaching breath awareness\, Ujjaiy and Ocean breathing. \nPhilosophy topic: Yama & Niyama in practice. \nThis workshop is part of a series of workshops in Groningen from our core experienced teacher trainers of Yoga Moves. Join one or all of these practice days. \nYou will be guided through basic and deep principles of practice. Learn tips for your own practice\, or your teaching skills. These workshops are open to the public and encouraged for people who are interested to go deeper or curious about joining the 200h Teacher Training Program that will start in October 2017 in Groningen. \nIf you know you want to join the 200h Teacher Training in fall 2017 – please make sure you attend these workshops – see them as Pre Teacher Training. \nAt the end of each session the teacher will spend some time answering your questions about the upcoming teacher training and help you prepare to start it if your interested. DESCRIPTION:Yoga and Stress Reduction\nOne out of three people – in greater or lesser extent – are stressed. In itself\, stress is a normal phenomenon\, something that stretches you as a rubber band\, after which it springs back again\, over and over. But when stress overrules\, you’re rubber band looses it’s flexibility. It requires attention if you want to release stress. Conscious and deep breathing is one of the most powerful -and scientifically proven- ways to reduce stress. After this Going Deeper Comeback Day you can catch your breath again. \nThe combination of accessible Yin & Yang yoga and breathing sessions will teach you how to recognize stress in your body and how to reduce it. Besides that you’ll learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy stress. You’ll receive practical tools to intervene before stress takes you over. These techniques are directly applicable in your daily life. Experience the power of your breath and feel completely relaxed and full with new energy after this special Comeback Day. \nAbout the teacher \nJasmijn is specialized in breathing techniques.
