SUMMARY:Maandag: Vinyasa Yoga @Yoga Moves 5.30PM
DESCRIPTION:Take a deep breath!\nJoin Jasmijn’s breath-based Vinyasa Yoga class at Yoga Moves Utrecht.\nVinyasa is a dynamic style of yoga\, in which the breath leads the movement. It is intensive and has a clear energetic beginning\, middle and end. The challenge in this kind of flow movement is to remain aware of a good alignment of your body\, to prevent injuries. Because the heart rate goes up and you increase your lung capacity\, vinyasa yoga has an activating effect. It’s a great practice if you want to develop more (muscle) strength and you are looking for a challenging practice -physically and emotionally. As a result\, you don’t only expand your stamina but also your inner power\, concentration and vitality. You will feel better and sleep better. \n\n\nCharacteristic for her teaching style is: devoted\, professional\, attentive\, clear and accessible for Everyone. \nMarlies van der Molen

SUMMARY:Maandag: Yin Yoga @Yoga Moves 6.45PM
DESCRIPTION:Relax\, Renew\, De-stress.\nJoin my weekly breath-based Yin Yoga class at Yoga Moves – Utrecht.\nYin Yoga mainly consists of sitting and lying postures that you hold for longer periods of time. The emphasis in this practice is not muscle strengthening\, but actually the complete surrender of muscle tension. While offering full attention to your body and mind\, you relax as much as possible in a posture. This causes pressure in your joints while your connective tissue\, cartilage and tendons get stretched so that they can recover\, strengthen and refresh. At the same time\, certain pressure points and meridians in your body get activated. Life energy (“Chi”) is allowed to flow better\, benefiting your organs\, health and emotional state of being. Making a Yin session like an acupuncture treatment you give yourself. \nYin yoga is good when you feel stiff or restless. It has a meditative quality\, sometimes confrontational and powerful. This form is very suitable to alternate with more active yoga styles or sports. \nJasmijn’s classes are suitable for everybody. \n\n\nJasmijn’s weekly yin yoga class consistently helps me to clear my mind after a busy week\, and refreshes my energy levels. The simple approach is surprising: just sitting\, breathing and drifting off from wordly concerns\, always does the trick. \nSandra van Blitterswijk

SUMMARY:Maandag: Slow Flow @Yoga Moves 8PM
DESCRIPTION:Breath-oriented\, intense and relaxing at the same time.\nJoin my slow flow classes at Yoga Moves – Utrecht. \nDuring Slow Flow\, you spend more time both within and between poses. As a result\, you combine activity with relaxation -and class takes on a more meditative character. The foundation of this style is a gentle vinyasa (breath initiated movement) filled with relaxing and restorative poses where you rest for longer periods of time. Slow Flow brings balance. This makes it suitable if you are very active – or tired. \n\n\nJasmijn has an eye for detail. She combines the flow in her classes with accuracy and adjustments for her students. Jasmijn is a kind of teacher whose personal care isn’t limited to class. \nErik Bouwens

By engaging with this inner work\, you will learn to recognize and release the mental patterns that hold you back. This deep inner inquiry allows you to teach from a place of calm confidence\, creating a space where students feel safe to explore their own inner landscapes. \nThrough Jasmijn’s guidance\, you will gain insight into your own thought patterns\, behaviors\, and emotional responses\, ultimately becoming more flexible in both mind and body.
