Principles of practice in Vinyasa Yoga

Enjoy a deep and clear approach for practicing Vinyasa by exploring the fundamental principles that allow everybody to access yoga with easy and depth. Learn the tools of teaching and practice that include breath-centered movements, and principles that are easy to follow and help you to open up your whole body with understanding.

Learn why these things are important to find alignment in your own body, and especially if you want to start teaching for understanding other bodies. You will explore why breath-centered movement can deepen your practice.

You explore the stages of learning & teaching breath awareness, Ujjaiy and Ocean breathing.

Philosophy topic: Yama & Niyama in practice.

This workshop is part of a series of workshops in Groningen from our core experienced teacher trainers of Yoga Moves. Join one or all of these practice days.

You will be guided through basic and deep principles of practice. Learn tips for your own practice, or your teaching skills. These workshops are open to the public and encouraged for people who are interested to go deeper or curious about joining the 200h Teacher Training Program that will start in October 2017 in Groningen.

If you know you want to join the 200h Teacher Training in fall 2017 – please make sure you attend these workshops – see them as Pre Teacher Training.

At the end of each session the teacher will spend some time answering your questions about the upcoming teacher training and help you prepare to start it if your interested. If you want to take this course for continuing education credit – we will ask you to do some reading and practice in between each session and you must attend all the sessions.
